Vincent Tantardini is a designer and indie developer with over a decade of experience in crafting thoughtful digital products. Originally from France and now based in Southeast Asia, he spent years building consumer-facing apps at companies like LINE and several early-stage startups before striking out on his own. Vincent is the solo creator behind Frames, a beautifully focused app for analogue film photographers. The project grew out of his own frustrations with the film process, the lack of structured tools to track exposure settings, manage rolls, and make sense of results once scans returned. What started as a personal side project became a four-year journey into the intersection of analogue craft and digital design. Vincent brings a design-first philosophy to his work, drawing on both his background in user experience and his deep appreciation for simplicity. Frames reflects that mindset, offering a privacy-respecting, elegantly minimal tool that feels at home on Apple platforms without getting in the way of the creative process. When he’s not refining workflows or responding to feedback from photographers across the globe, you’ll likely find him outdoors shooting film, always looking to improve his understanding of light and process. Vincent believes that great software doesn’t replace craft, it supports it, quietly and purposefully.
