Description of Idea Kiln
Idea Kiln is intended for digital-first ideas, products, and online services, including software, SaaS products, mobile apps, web apps, browser extensions, APIs, AI tools, digital agencies, online communities, newsletters, templates, and other internet-based projects. Our platform provides tools for idea submission, collaborative refinement, and community interaction to help transform raw concepts into well-crafted, viable ideas.
User content & intellectual property
You retain ownership of all ideas, concepts, and content you submit to the platform. By posting content on Idea Kiln, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display, use, and distribute your content within the platform for the purpose of enabling community feedback and collaboration.
Additionally, you grant Idea Kiln permission to showcase and promote your ideas on our social media accounts (including but not limited to X, TikTok, Bluesky), in our newsletters, and in other promotional materials. We will always attribute the idea to you as the creator when promoting your content outside the platform. If your idea is selected for promotion, you may request that we remove it from our promotional channels at any time by contacting sebastian@ideakiln.com.
While we encourage collaboration and feedback, users are responsible for protecting their own intellectual property rights. We recommend not sharing proprietary information, trade secrets, or patentable ideas without proper protection.
Community guidelines
Users of Idea Kiln must adhere to the following guidelines:

Prohibited content & ideas
Idea Kiln strictly prohibits the submission or promotion of ideas, applications, or services that involve:
- Adult & NSFW content
Pornographic material, nudity-generating applications, ‘undressing’ or clothing removal tools, or any sexually explicit content.
- Deepfake & non-consensual imagery
Tools or services that create, distribute, or facilitate deepfake content, non-consensual intimate imagery, or any technology designed to manipulate images or videos of real people without their consent.
- Illegal activities
Ideas promoting or facilitating illegal activities including fraud, identity theft, hacking tools for malicious purposes, drug trafficking, weapons dealing, or money laundering.
- Harassment & abuse
Tools designed to harass, stalk, bully, or target individuals or groups.
- Hate speech & discrimination
Content promoting violence, hatred, or discrimination based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or other protected characteristics.
- Misinformation
Tools designed to create or spread false information, fake news, or propaganda.
- Privacy violations
Services designed to collect, expose, or exploit personal data without consent, including doxxing tools or surveillance applications.
- Gambling & betting
Unlicensed gambling platforms or tools designed to circumvent gambling regulations.
- Medical, pharmaceutical & regulated health
Ideas, listings, applications, or services that advertise, sell, promote, facilitate access to, or make claims about prescription drugs, medications, controlled substances, peptides, hormones, weight-loss treatments, supplements, medical devices, healthcare services, clinics, doctors, or other regulated health products or services — including ‘research use only’ compounds or products marketed with medical, therapeutic, fitness, or body-altering claims.
Idea Kiln may refuse, remove, decline to promote, or suspend any submission or account that we reasonably believe violates these prohibitions, falls outside the intended scope of the platform, or involves primarily physical, offline, local, medical, pharmaceutical, supplement-related, regulated, or otherwise high-risk goods or services — even if the submission is legal or legitimate in another context. We reserve the right to report illegal activities to relevant authorities.
Payment terms
Idea Kiln offers subscription plans to access premium features. When you subscribe to a plan, you agree to pay the fees associated with your selected plan. We process payments through trusted third-party payment processor Stripe.
For one-time promotional payments (such as Promoted or Premium idea placement), all sales are final and non-refundable once the promotional service has been activated. This is because these services provide immediate visibility benefits that cannot be reversed.
Subscribers receive a 30% discount on one-time promotional payments for idea enhancement. This discount is automatically applied when you have an active subscription.
We offer a full refund within 7 days of subscribing if you are not satisfied with our services, provided you have not purchased any one-time promotional products during this period. After the 7-day period, you may cancel your subscription at any time, but no refunds will be issued for the current billing cycle. To request a refund or cancel your subscription, please contact our support team.
User data & privacy
We collect and store user data, including name, email, and payment information, as necessary to provide our services. For details on how we handle your data, please refer to our Privacy Policy.
Non-personal data collection
We use web cookies and similar technologies to collect non-personal data for the purpose of improving our services and user experience.
Limitation of liability
Idea Kiln is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee that the platform will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free. We are not liable for any loss or damage resulting from:

Governing law
